Description:
Returns the depreciation of an asset for a specified period by using the double-declining balance method or some other method that you specify.
Function Structure:
=DDB(cost, salvage, life, period, [factor]).
Argument Breakdown:
cost – Initial cost of asset.
salvage – Asset value at the end of depreciation.
life – Periods over which asset is depreciated.
period – Period to calculation depreciation for.
factor – Rate at which the balance declines. If omitted, defults to 2.
