BESSELI

Function Type: Engineering

Description:

Returns the modified Bessel function In(x).

Function Structure:

=BESSELI(x, n)

Argument Breakdown:

x – The value at which the function is to be evaluated.

n – A positive integer, representing the order of the function. (If the supplied value of n is a decimal, this is truncated to an integer by Excel).

Example:

If n or x is non-numeric, BESSELI returns the #VALUE! error value and if n is less than 0, BESSELI returns the #NUM! error value.
